Jono
Jono wears his colours very proudly, to the point where it’s hard to tell whether it’s his Acadian pride that allows him to embrace himself so well as a rapper, or his pride as an MC that allows himself to embrace his Acadian side. One thing is certain, his status as the leading figure in Acadian hip-hop is already taking shape.
In full band, his boom-bap and jazz sounds remain accessible to those less familiar with hip-hop, but that
doesn’t mean he’s not pushing the boundaries every time he steps on stage. If you follow him into his
universe, you’ll immediately feel the heat from his passion on stage. You’ll recognize this passion if you’ve ever been to an Acadian kitchen party, except this party takes us to the traditions of hip-hop, accompanied by Metaphyzik's turntablism.

From Moncton, New Brunswick, Metaphyzik is first and foremost an avid music & record collector of all genres. Diggin' in the crates in search of classics or rare oddities, his style ranges from groovy soul jams to funky breakbeats, where all roads lead to the Boom Bap avenue of Hip-Hop.
Throughout the years Metaphyzik has established himself as a pillar of the international underground Hip-Hop community, the backbone for many rappers & MCs, most recently with life-long friend and collaborator Jono.
